An editorial gallery built around Cleveland's best wedding venues, and the light in them.

This gallery is here to show you a way of seeing: composed, editorial, unposed. It spans the venues I shoot most, from Cleveland Botanical Garden and Severance Hall to the Hyatt at the Arcade, and I work as far out as Lakewood, Akron, and Columbus. The days I shoot range from downtown high-rises to garden ceremonies at Stan Hywet Hall, weddings of two hundred guests to quiet elopements for two. What holds it together is the same eye: real light, a composed frame, and a photographer who has shot enough commercial sets to know when to wait for a moment instead of posing it.
